Obviously I didn’t use any geometric specifications but instead used the concept of slapping it together and making my wife and the plants happy.

So far, the kiddie pool idea seems to be working great, and everything is growing and looking green and happy. I only have a few inches of water in the pools, so it just keeps the bottom of the containers cool and wet, and lets the top part dry out.
I am really thinking about getting some of the dishpans, or cheap aluminum roaster pans for some of the other containers, and maybe even another kiddie pool the next trip to the dollar store.

We have a kiddie pool may try it out this fall, thanks Evonne. Now I'm trying to get compost ready for fall planting but running late.
