There's so many different flavors or just plain...I like the eggplant one because it's got the best nutrition values and it's good tasting also.
One pet peeve is stopping at a stop light and someone who has a minor disability coming up to the car and asking for handouts. Then come home and see this on video. Armless mother takes care of daughter like normal
Our water bills are over $100 a month, and that's not counting the sewer bill. Water rates have skyrocketed here, although it rains every other day. Personally, I think we're subsidizing California.
Many new residents moving into our apartment complex have two vehicles. Either the new residents don't want to spend the money on a garage or there aren't any available. We have two, next to each other. One for storage of stuff and the other to park our Durango in. Anyway, what we are seeing is every parking space next to our building is full and the handicap spaces, now have non-handicap people parking in them. No handicap placard or license plate. Now, if we didn't have the garage for our vehicle, we'd be complaining to management that someone who is not handicap is parking in the handicap spot where we'd park. I have a handicap placard due to my hip replacement I had. One thing we (wife/I) have found out for sure, people love parking right in front of where they live or very close to where they live. No matter what, it "urks" me when people that don't have a handicap placard or license plate, park in a handicap spot.

People who park in t That’s because they believe that laziness is a disability. Happens to us all the time. Also people who leave their kids at home but park in the family spots.
Last year I had a problem with my refrigerator, we called a group called Home Advisor who will do any repairs on appliances or your home. We paid the $19.99 membership fee in order to get an estimate. Instead of using this service, we decided it was time to replace the old refrig, so we purchased a new one. We never use this service in any capacity. Today while reviewing my credit card statement there was another charge from them for the $19.99. I did not authorize this charge nor agree to an automatic payment. After a half hour on the phone and talking to three different service reps I finally got it resolved to get a refund and cancel my membership. It's just annoying that they charge your account without getting your approval first. I canceled all my magazine subscriptions for the same reason they started charging my account and renewing my subscription without my permission. Just very annoying.
Same exact thing happened to us with a 1-year membership fee. I used a credit card to pay it initially, and, without asking, they charged the credit card again. We called the credit card company, but we were told that we'd have to contact the website for a refund. We were told that it could take weeks for the website, if we even get ahold of them, to refund our credit card. So, what did we do? We let them keep the $19.00 and got a new credit card. They don't have the new number, and the number they have, is no longer valid.
It is too bad you had to do that, @Cody Fousnaugh and sad that you experienced it as well, @Tony Page. Home Adviser was purchased by Angie's List, and they are now referred to (I think) as Angi. Shady people all around, and they may be failing, thus the fraudulent practices. I don't purchase anything that requires a subscription that "you can cancel anytime". That is how companies like Relief Factor get a 70% reorder rate--people forget to cancel the subscription. It may be a fine product, but it is mostly turmeric that you can gat elsewhere for less.
That's Interesting. Home Advisor was a free service in 2020. They gave you several selections and you chose one, or none, depending on the reviews. I looked up the websites of the choices. They did charge a hefty fee for the contractors that signed up though. I got a good roofer through them. I think HA was bought out by Angie's List recently. I just checked and believe it's still free, unless you choose a specific option, where they send someone out for you, without your choice. I don't think they had such an option before.
We weren't offered the free option to get service. What would be the advantage of having a membership that you have to pay for if you can get the same thing free? It's possible different parts of the country have different programs. The only thing I allow automatic charges for is chewy to automatically deliver dog food. We did this because the dog food our dogs like we can't always get locally.

LINK I don't know, Tony. Sounds confusing. Did you specify a fixed price to them? That would be awfully hard to arrange, sight unseen, on many jobs, unless one chooses a very high price. I didn't get a quote. I got that after I met with the contractor.
As I recall I saw an ad and called it, a service rep answered didn't mention different options only it was $19.95 for membership which was required to get an estimate. I got a phone number to call to contact the servicemen, but never used it. The $19.95 was good for a year and covered service under their umbrella. I kept the membership, because I thought at the time I would be using it for other type work, I never used it. I never agreed to an automatic renewal, I would never do that.
We found out about the reorder thing a few months ago. Not for dog food but other items.We thought it was a mistake and tried to send items back.
