One area that a lot of people lie about is in the bodybuilding industry. I’m a natural builder in that I take no enhancing substances beyond that of a few supplements but there are those who claim to be natural and definitely aren’t. Arnold S, Coleman, Piana and a few others have all copped to using muscle enhancing drugs after the fact but haven’t lost any credits even though Synthol, HGH, Anabolic Steroids etc are illegal to use. Nearly all the pro’s associated with the major championships take some form of illegal substance but they also cycle the drugs and during the off cycle they take large doses of substances like Milk thistle to clean up their livers thereby allowing them to pass the blood tests. But of course, that’s not all they do. One bodybuilder I know told me that he had the glands removed from his aureoles so he wouldn’t suffer from man breasts. Some have had the lines of fat removed from their abs and around lats to make the muscles stand out more and they all lie about it just to make folks believe that they all do the due diligence it takes to be Mr. Whatever. The women are a different story. The ones that have bulked up and look more like men than some men, use muscle enhancers and the same as men, they cycle them so as not to get caught. Then there’s the category of women who are technically called bodybuilders but wish to maintain the more feminine side. Some go under the knife to enhance whatever and some do not but the one’s who do aren’t very vocal about it.
It's strange. First, I don't get that kind of behaviour in a filed that's supposedly health-related. Then you gotta question the term "Winning," but I guess if everyone's cheating, then you're the best competitor on a level corrupted playing field. It's real easy to lie to others when you lie to yourself.
As I indicated, I and many others who are natural builders pretty much rely on genetics and supplementation but even so, there’s a certain point that even natural guys have to stop because the human heart can only do so much. That said, the is literally Nothing that is healthy about carrying around 350 Lbs. of drug produced muscle and as a matter of fact, most of those monsters die early in life as the result of their hearts giving out. Arnold S. lived through his attack(s) and made the choice to stop bulking up which is about the same time he came out of the closet and admitted to using enhancers. Here we have Steve Reeves and Ronnie Coleman. Betcha can’t tell who lied about using muscle enhancers. The Reeves look is what I’m shooting for and as a matter of fact, my chest and arms are a full inch larger than his but that waist….well…….dunno if I’m going to lose that 5 inches or not. He was a 29 and I’m a stubborn 34 some days and a 35 on others.
“Sometimes genetics can be a real pain in the glutes” or…”Get that finger out of your throat”, said the mesomorph to the ectomorph.
Hey! I'll have you know my family is proud of their Greco-Roman heritage. My ancestors chewed the Appian W-a-a-a-a-a-y!
I am not lying. I have never had plastic surgery. Sometimes I worry about tripping on some body parts but they are what they are. I just tuck them in my waist band. My hope was to get enough midriff bulges to dance in Jabba the Huts palace with that one women with the multi tiered bra. It didn't work out for me. I lost weight instead. I feel badly for youngsters who can't see into the future and get tatoos on their chests or their buttocks. Eventually they fall. The images must stretch dowwwwwnnnn with the skin.
