If you watched 60 Minutes yesterday 5/01/22 you saw the story about the wheat crop in Ukraine being all but dead because of the war. That was a scary story for the world's food supply.
In April of 2021, the Biden Administration added 4 million additional acres of farmland to the Conservation Reserve Program, taking more agricultural land out of production. That will bring the total up to about 25 million acres of US farmland taken out of production. That's some forward-thinking on the part of the Biden Administration. The US was once a major wheat producer, and could be again if we weren't paying farmers not to farm.
It could be that the administration is big on "Gluten Free"...or perhaps they are trying to starve us into submission? We will have to get our information now from Biden's "Ministry of Truth". Scary, huh?
We have been selling off this country for a long time to cover up previous inflation and the need to have two sets of books to say, See? we have a balanced budget! Think Clinton administration: Illiinois tollway, Mass Turnpike, Pennsylvania Turnpike, each 99 year 'lease' gave the idea to the next state. Long time ago I said we will have to hand over the Grand Canyon to China to cover our debts. Can't remember who is mining in it just now.
Beth, you took my reply, this is so true not to speak of the foreign owned millions of acre's here in Florida destroying our fresh water and natural habitats like the Everglades. We became a nation of sheep and now ruled by wolves. Nothing new though all empires act this way before their fall. I think Ukraine is a planned scheme by NWO. Not sure about a damn thing anymore,.
I am seeing on Twitter news that Smithfield is shutting down at least one plant, in California, and they are saying that it is just costing too much to run it. Some people think that Smithfield will be closing more plants as well, but I have not seen anything definite yet. One of the truckers who posts on Twitter has been sharing his fuel receipts and it is costing him over $1,000 each time he buys diesel for his truck. Apparently, some truckers don’t have the money for fuel, and so they are not hauling anything. As upsetting as the fuel situation is for all of us, it is much worse for the truckers , whole livelihood depends on moving freight across America. Also, other companies besides Smithfield are starting to say that it is costing too much for shipping expenses. Our food and other supplies are either going to be sky-high, or not available……or maybe some of both. It is definitely important to be stocking up on some durable goods, foods and otherwise.
Well, IMO partly because some American individual or corporation is greedy enough to take their offer on the land. It might sound cynical but ..... I really believe that fewer and fewer American people, American corporations, and just about no politicians care anything about this country any longer. All they care about are themselves.
