While liberal individuals, politicians, schools, and media continue to secularize and promote ungodly values for America, it's surprising that any religious or moral reversal could occur. Such has just happened though with the Supreme Court's ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Finally, five courageous Supreme Court Justices have affirmed the flawed legal basis for Roe vs Wade's 1973 abortion ruling, stating that: "The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives.” Without detailing the biological distinction between a baby and it's mother that refutes the cry of women wanting control over their own bodies, or the irrational moral justification of killing humans because they're not classified as people, let me address a variety of relevant points to this extraordinary court ruling. Our nation's Founding Fathers specified that religious matters are to be left to the states. This was the case for over 150 years with each state enacting its own criminal laws of morality and religious values. In 1947, a very liberal/progressive Supreme Court betrayed that principle in the precedent setting ruling of Everson vs Board of Education, paving the way for 5-9 unelected Justices to dictate religious and moral values for an entire country's populace. That has been the case for the past 70 years as 16 Supreme Court decisions have effectively replaced America's Christian heritage with a secular one. Make no mistake about it: abortion is a moral value, and moral values are based upon religious values. The current Justices have not only made a sound legal decision in upholding the Constitution which says nothing about abortion, but have also upheld our Founding Fathers' framework for a nation of United but differing States - with strict limitations upon federal authority. Overturning Roe vs Wade won't outlaw abortion, but it will allow the people of each state, through elected officials, to choose their moral standing on the issue. Any rational, freedom conscious person should respect and appreciate this aspect of the decision. There's already charges that the closure of potentially 25% of the country's abortion clinics will disproportionately affect the black population. That's probably right, but since abortion was promoted most by a Planned Parenthood leadership committed to racism against blacks, perhaps killing less of their children to suppress their population isn't such a good cause to rally behind. Could it be that killing fewer babies might actually be a good thing, regardless of race? Let's see, that might be like saying "All Lives Matter!" - a supposed racist, offensive claim these days. But shouldn't they? There's been over 40 recent, destructive attacks against pregnancy centers offering free, real support for estranged women in need. More arson, violence, and even death threats are being promised by Jane's Revenge and other radical abortion advocates. Is this not the epitome of evil or insanity, pursuing harm to others that don't support your perceived right to kill innocent lives? Over 64 million fetus/babies have been lawfully killed in America since the 1973 Roe vs Wade decision. This atrocity in depriving right to life and freedom exceeds America's slave history, Germany's holocaust, and even other nations' genocides - all justified by dehumanizing people. While apparently many liberal and secular individuals have no problem with this, Christians and others with any moral conscience should. We can't expect God to bless this nation when its culture supports the same two sins that caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I pray this court's righteous decision will prompt a bit more mercy and time before America's current trend of depravity reaches God's judgement level. May God bless Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, and may he bless the many others who have fought for decades to protect the sanctity of human life, knowing that each conceived child is a human being with an eternal soul, created in the image of God, possessing infinite value.
My major issue for years is: Save the fetus, but it's ok to kill the babies/children all over the world that we do with our wars and guns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One doesn't negate the other, however. There does seem to be a disconnect but some of us are opposed to killing the born, as well as the unborn.
The Left will get more rabid. "Pro Choice" = "No Restrictions" to them, including a couple of days after a live human being has been birthed and lays there awaiting its fate. Gee, look at how far we've come from "an undifferentiated mass of cells."
Uh, you need to study the history of Native Americans and nearly every African nation ever. And Asian. And South American.
Do you know of that actually happening? I haven't seen anything to support this. I totally oppose late-stage abortion, meaning after there is a viable baby. (Except in extreme cases of birth defects or whatever.)
Most societies, throughout history, have waged war. Those who didn't were absorbed by those who did. Africa, South and Central America, and the Mideast are hardly peaceful societies. No, I don't think whiteness has anything to do with it. I believe that legal abortion cheapens life and contributes to a society where the lives of others is not respected. There's more to it than that, of course.
Do you mean, has it happened, or are there those who support it? I doubt that it has actually happened, because under current law that would be Homicide. Here are Search Results on the term "kill baby 2 days after birth" Headlines say California/Colorado/Maryland bill allows killing babies... mixed in with No, this California/Colorado/Maryland bill does not allow killing babies... Virginia's ex-governor Northam (a friggin' doctor) made this statement in response to a sponsored bill that would permit abortion up until the moment of delivery. link
15 African Countries Currently At War Little girls are raped and little boys are intentionally slaughtered (not "collateral damage") so they do not grow up to be warriors of the enemy tribes. Today.
I would agree that you've hit on at least an accepted incidental "benefit" to the mongers, if not a primary motive.
That link made my Windows Defender pop up which never happens. Not sure what the deal is but Malwarebytes didn't react.
Huh. I just tried it again and it is fine...it's a Washington Free Beacon page. It was fine when I first clicked on it, other than a pop-up asking me (not requiring me) to subscribe...I closed it and read the article without incident. I'll hide the full url in this Spoiler: Full article url https://freebeacon.com/issues/north...-ensue-between-the-physicians-and-the-mother/ so no one else clicks on it, in case you want to play with it. That's interesting that Defender would pop up (I've never seen it, either), when there are so many things MalwareBytes evaluates as an issue.
