i don't know how many people are thinking about what could happen outta all this....if we can...we should be ready...feels better already to get this far along with it....
if nothing happens...fine...we won't be hungry for a year...least til spring..then more wild edibles....if needed will pop up...

We actually have what my mom used to call 'a thunder mug' as a second toilet in the barnhouse., for emergency nite time use.

 

well...all i can say ...is...don't know whether to ask you ...explain that one...or not?..ha!

 

Another option for those in apartments or the disabled is to get one of those flushable porta-potties. They come in all varieties from simple buckets and flushable suitcase things to compost toilets as some use in their RVs.

 

yeah...saw those before...good thing we have a big area here...loaded with clay soil!...
i'll just get paw to put a rail out to the loo!

 

It was/is just a ceramic container with a handle and maybe a lid that you could use to relieve yourself and slide it under the bed till morning.
At the barnhouse, we have an electric waterless toilet but they have just composting ones as well.

 

The electric ones need power. They also make propane ones if you want to go that way.
