If it happens again after clicking that, I'd suggest clearing your cache and dumping cookies, at least the ones for this site.
I am now having trouble as well. Sometimes I have to reboot the computer to be able to log in, and even then it changes the display to become unreadable when I am logged in and change screens. Maybe my security stuff doesn't like a site that isn't secure?
One day last week it wouldn't let me log in either. There were 2 cookies on the pc for this website. Deleting them both fixed it. I think there is usually only one, but it happens so seldomly, can't remember for sure. I always log off when I'm done.
I think I found the problem. I was right. This computer software does not like sites that are not https:
That's odd, because the URL I'm on right now says https://www.seniorsonly.club/threads/site-keeps-logging-me-out.21241/#post-616071
If I have a problem before I go back to soc, I just go to settings and allow all cookies. Then when I leave I reset cookies.
Interesting, but when I turned that requirement off, the site works fine. I am no computer nerd. I just know the basics.
The past week auto sign in is hit and miss for me, each day I have to sign in and the rest of the day I could visit then leave come back later and it still auto signs in. No cookies have been removed by me and there should be another cookie each time I need to sign in. So I know it isn't my malware tools removing any cookies. Is there an answer to correct this ?
There's no one answer, no. It's a browser thing, probably. When browsers update, sometimes they reset the defaults pertaining to cookies. I have a similar problem when I'm using Edge for Mac, although I don't have that problem using Edge on my Windows machine.
