DeSantis suspends state attorney who opposed prosecuting abortion, sex reassignment crimes

Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday that he was suspending Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren for not prosecuting certain crimes.

At a news conference in front of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Tampa, DeSantis said Warren has “put himself publicly above the law” by signing letters saying he would not enforce laws prohibiting sex reassignment for minors or laws limiting abortion.

“Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men,” DeSantis said.

What a radical bad person to do this to children. Children not capable of such a life-changing thing as this.
Good for DeSantis to stop this bad man.

 

I'll admit I don't know a lot about DeSantis, but what I do know impresses me. He's like Trump with his decisiveness but without the ego-Twitter-drama B.S. (Plus he doesn't have one foot in the old-age home or wear a bib.)

 

DeSantis is younger and his wife just went through breast cancer during his election in 2020 I think it was. He seems ok but does have a little politician in hum guess that goes with the territory.

 

I remember the liberals criticizing him for accompanying his wife to treatment. What a bunch of candy-asses.
