This fifteen year old did look into something 'forbidden' > Since then, the documentary film was censored from the site > This was the summary, on the site documentary heaven that has a lot of documentaries on dozens of topics save, which serves as an excellent example of why different "-opathy or -apathy" often may go on uunnecessarily for months, thru decades > Just like bad religion, bad politics and bad medicine go hand in hand for profit often or usually overwhelming the thoughts of citiznes everywhere. So far as I know the oldest healing clinic in the country is in California still working though limited. "Dr. Gerson found that diet could, and did, cure cancer. Gerson’s pioneering theories were controversial at the time (and even today), but Garrett took on the challenge of researching this amazing therapy, drawing the interest of his neighbors in the small Alaskan community. With the help of Dr. Gerson’s daughter, Charlotte Gerson, and grandson, Howard Straus, who gave him the ammunition needed to go in search for the truth – Garrett brought home a truth that would affect not only him, but his entire Alaskan village – all of whom wanted to know if these claims were true. After a number of cancer patients, who were diagnosed as terminal, shared their stories and their medical records with Garrett, it became abundantly clear that, contrary to the disinformation campaign spear-headed by the multi-billion dollar medical and pharmaceutical industry, a cure for virtually all cancers and chronic diseases does exist – and has existed for over 80 years! Garrett’s mission now is to tell the world." Re "disinformation" others online have noted that EVERY place across the county that they checked into or looked into for treatment had exactly the same methods, steps, and protocols for treating problems, and none of them differed enough to provide any hope or solution to the suffering and pain. Also noted that re-occurence of the suffering , pain , and soon death was common.
I think several people have threads and posts of what they did over the years that helped them prevent troubles or to recover safely from troubles - health troubles. That is really the 'point' worth noting most, I believe. <skip to bottom for simple direct point> The same health troubles are not helped much if at all, and are usually continued by the most common official protocols, while people who look for relief from the troubles find it sooner or later - there's still plenty of sources available so I don't think anyone needs to look more than three or four days for information, while it may take months or years to find a practical health-giver who has sufficient knowledge and experience to directly help someone. When a family member was experiencing frequent er visits, doctor's visits, and clinic visits to obtain temporary relief of difficult symptoms, it took us several years to find "the answer", and then it was not from a doctor or nurse or clinic, but from a support group of others who had suffered, some for decades, without getting a simple diagnosis from most of the doctors availalbe. Eventually, when the correct diagnosis was discovered, by anyone, it was simple to understand and to get the proper remedy/treatment for from doctors after telling them what the problem was, they verified by testing, which they could have and should have known and done early on instead of delaying, procrastinating or even just ignoring of refusing to tell what was happening. I cannot imagine the doctors, hospitals and clinics did not know all along more than they would tell or admit concerning what was actually relatively simple diagnosis; or I should say I could not imagine that for years, but now understand that that is just the way the protocols are set up without regard for causing less harm and less expense. i.e. the "solution" <simple, direct point> The answer, the solution, the relief is not complicated nor difficult most of the time. But the medical system is not set up to provide the solution, and rather makes it worse in many cases. So, to find "the solution", seek those other people who have been helped with simple clear and obvious inexpensive methods, and ask them.
You can take up to 2400 mg per day of the ALA without harm, but check with your provider or pharmacist for interactions.
Do you consider what you are eating because that plays a huge part in inflammation, which is the typical cause of pain. Tissues swell up and press against the nerves. I do a lot of little extras anti-inflammatory foods. Right now I'm just sticking with the supps I listed because something I was taking made my tinnitus (ringing in the ears) worse. Blueberries, blackberries and rasberries are always on hand as they are the lowest carb (safe for diabetis)and anti-inflammatory.
The Neuropathy I've been dealing with since 2010 is from hip replacement surgery/nerve damage. What has helped me the MOST is Inosine and Sphingoln and I no longer have burn/tingle issues but the surgery side of my body is NUMB from knee up to incision site. A friend who probably has 40 yrs of neuropathy and I'd say from skin cancer radiation, is off gabapenten and drugs and does good with Inosine and Grape Seed Extract. Grape Seed Extract is my #1 healer....cleans and thins the blood.
I have mild peripheral neuropathy thanks to type 2 diabetes. Numbness in my feet seems to be the biggest issue so far. No need for pain meds at this point.
I don't deal with diabetes but the foot numbness is from arthritis and I use topicals, wear socks and theraputic type that are like support socks...I know the Grape Seed Extract I take helps a lot and also Grape Seed Ex is known to reduce diabetic issues. It helps to reduce sugars and carbs.
My wife has neuropathy in her hands from chemotherapy. There is a holistic product I saw online that I will see if she is willing to try. Thought I'd share the link with you https://www.purehealthresearch.com/...BflgIKU4Ktj123vRMdyVd1nWPEE6e6TcaAsGFEALw_wcB
Tony--be sure to get the OK from the radiologist before getting any supplements for your wife. I was told that some supplements may change how radiation therapy works.
You're right I forgot she can't take any supplements. I'll wait until she's done with all the treatments. She's been getting frustrated because she has no feelings In her fingertips, so she drops things. I surf the web this afternoon after she had problems trying to sew a hole closed in my grandkid stuffed animal.
This is a great product that got rid of the burn/tingle from the nerve damage from hip replacement...cancer issues are not mine.... This product really helped me a LOT when it was suggested to me. Inosine overview: https://www.karger.com/Article/Fulltext/493831
I miss Lon. Seems like I haven't had a decent forum scuffle since he passed on. Regarding lymphedema ("LE"), my fears have been realized and I received official diagnosis today. I have dreaded it for so long that hearing the doctor pronounce it was anti-climactic. I'm hoping that it will remain a mild annoyance but it's a crap shoot. I'll be seeing another PT who specializes in LE therapy soon, and learning how to "wrap" my hand and arm myself (like shown in Lon's pictures earlier in this thread) to help clear the lymph from swollen tissues. I'm supposed to buy compression sleeves to wear but I just know I'll be non-compliant when it comes to those. I have sensory processing issues and I'm afraid I won't be able to wear a sleeve or anything constricting due to SPD. Sooooo, I hope I can manage my symptoms with self massage techniques, exercise and elevation... and hopefully it will remain mild. I will also have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who specializes in microsurgical LE treatment, possibly to get additional "lymphovenous bypass" connections. This is a type of microsurgery to connect lymph channels to blood vessels and re-route the lymph out of my arm. I'll be whining more about this later; I know everyone will be fascinated. "Cancer... the gift that keeps on giving!"
@Beth Gallagher, I am sorry to hear this, particularly on the heels of your cancer treatment. I don't know a lot about lymphedema. I've had patients who had that as a condition, but it was always secondary to the problem that we were being called out for. I really did do a lot of studying on medical conditions because I liked to be able to figure out what was wrong with my patients before the official diagnosis, but I concentrated on the conditions that we would be treating in the ambulance, I guess.
