I don’t blame Obama for it but he pretty much let that cat out of the bag and favored it during one of his campaign speeches. We do not need to have organs or bones replaced. We just need a pill.
Your mention of dentists reminded me of another gripe I have lately... exactly WHAT do "dentists" do anymore??? I have a dental technician who cleans my teeth and does occasional x-rays (when I allow it). Any time my husband has needed a tooth extracted for an implant or whatever, they send him to an "oral surgeon." Are regular dentists just sitting in there reading magazines now?? (And sending a bill for the office visit??)
Yep, they have dental technicians that do all the work. They don't send bills around here. They want their money before you leave or for things like appliances, the money in full upfront.
My poor daughter was in a "tough" marriage and didn't realize so many of her health issues were from the marriage, and her gyn doc suggested this one doc who was pretty new out of medical school, and talk about a pill pusher...It was tragic and she ended up in ICU from some drugs and rehab for pain pill addiction. She went thru a LOT of hell as she just didn't know how damaging all the mix of pills can destroy so much. She is RABID about no pharma drugs....but it took some hard hard times for her. And a divorce.
Actually, I love the VA doctors that I've had in previous years and now. Yes, I take prescription meds for Diabetic 2, blood pressure and cholesterol. I also take a Senior Multi-Vitamin and a few Supplement vitamins. My wife does the same. There are those Veterans that have had problems with the VA Medical, but I really never have. I've only had one surgery with VA Medical and that was in 1988 (ankle). My hip replacement, which went great and wife and I are extremely glad that I got it, came from company insurance that I had, as did my right shoulder rotator cuff surgery. My left shoulder rotator cuff surgery and my laser cataract surgery (both eyes) came from Medicare and my Supplement. I got osteoarthritis in both shoulders, due to the surgeries, but that is very common. I take a VA medication for that daily pain. Some people have had problems with their doctor, whereas neither wife nor I have had that happen.
On the dental issue and I've been to Plenty in my 84 yrs (84 today) and for the last 10 yrs or more, I've not seen a dentist. The Grape Seed Ex keeps my gums healthy,. and the Coconut Oil Toothpaste (Now Foods) keep my teeth healthy, what is left of them, and Hydrogen Peroxide swish every evening before bed, I know does good. I have a broken molar for probably 14 yrs and never did what the 2 dentists wanted me to do, I'm fine. The trauma and costs of what they suggested, OMG....nope.
I frequently say that I hate doctors, and I don't make a habit of running to the doctor every time I get a sniffle or a pain, but I've had cancer twice and, without meaning to offend anyone, I don't think that grape-seed extract would have made the cancer go away. Neither am I convinced that the treatments I did receive will hold it off forever, but it's been more than fifteen years since the first and a few years since the second. While I believe that we have the responsibility of second-guessing our doctors, particularly when what they are recommending doesn't make sense to us, just as I second-guess the news, but doctors know more about some of this stuff than I do so I'm going to hear them out. The decisions are mine, however.
Yep and no issues and I just know to not chew a lot on that area...and over the years when I've felt some pain in the area, I found drops of Myrrh Tincture on the area are a miracle. I'm never without Myrrh T and my 95 yr old neighbor friend too. I actually started my quest on the dental stuff, when I started questioning xrays every time I went to get my teeth cleaned, I said no to them and then they started having me sign a waiver to release them from any issues that may have shown up. All has been good.
Ken, it's not about "going away",. it's about "never getting C in the first place", and you don't know that as you said you only took it for a short time as I recall. I can only speak for me me and how I feel about Grape Seed Ex and preventing cancers. And I don't say it "will" or it "does" but I make no claims but that it May and Could etc etc etc
There may very well be good reasons why the grape seed extract works so well to help prevent cancer. Back in the early part of the 1900’s (around 1920), a lady from Africa, named Joanna Brandt, developed what she called the grape diet , and it was for people who actually had cancer. The basic premise is that the grape has several properties that work to kill cancer cells, and what she did was have people fast for 12 hours (so basically an early dinner and late breakfast), and then have the fresh grapes or fresh pressed grape juice first thing in the morning. Since the cells were hungry, they fed on the grapes, and the anti-cancer properties in the grapes and the grape seeds helped to kill cancer cells. Here is an article about the Brandt diet and explains more of how it works. https://alternativehealth.co.nz/cancer/grapediet/grape.htm
Interesting for sure, and I can only say when I attended the lecture on this GSE in 1995 the panel of doctors and company owners said "May Prevent Cancers".... One doctor on the panel was Dr. Earl Mindell and he's written a host of vitamin "bibles" over the years....I bought one of his "bibles" in maybe the 80's or so. Speaking of bibles, my neighbor who spends days reading her bibles said some yrs ago the "grape" is printed in the bibles. She gave her cat who had cancer Grape Seed Ex and the cat got an extra year of health and was almost a new cat for some time. She was taking it and I don't know if she still does or not.
