Johnny was ok with this song, but I liked the Five Satins better.

Who did you like? I like Kenny G, but then I don't know many trumpet players although I do like brass. I like the guy who plays in Gerry Raffety's 'Bakers Street'.

I like Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinson, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Clifford Brown, Lew Soloff, and a bunch of other jazz/big bad horn players. I also like a bunch of sax players, with Grover Washington Jr. being near the top of the list.

I always wondered who that Baker Street sax player was, so I looked. He was a British guy named Raphael Ravenscroft. He was born in 1954 and died in 2014 of a heart attack. I dug deeper because the guy with the deep voice who sang "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" was Thurl Ravenscroft (the original Tony the Tiger.) Thurl was born in Nebraska in 1914. They were not related...at least, they were not immediate family.

Hello it’s me, you know indoctrination started when we were still naive.
Programming our beliefs that inertia is the reason we don’t feel the earth spinning.
    Hello can you hear me.

Did you ever stop to question a confession of gravity as a theory a funny thing for so long can be explained with buoyancy and density.

The sun is closer that what they told us, not 90,000,000 miles away.

Hello from the inside I’m here to tell you NASA lies and there never was a space probe and those planets you’ve flown to are wondering stars.

Operation Fishbowl, there never was a South Pole.

We’re surrounded by walls of ice and we clearly live inside of a glass dome.

    Hello, how are you?

Did you get a chance to join Flat Earth and globe discussion groups to discover all the truth how the sun the moon the stars are all revolving around you.

There’s no more secrets, the earth is stationary it is fixed immovable.

Hello from the brighter side, they fooled you with their CGI.

They are sending rockets into the sea.

They are faking the live ISS feed.

No matter how high above. Horizons rise to eye level.

Now I’ve found our worlds greatest fiction.

Great song! ... excerpts of the lyrics:

Am I the only one, willin' to bleed
Or take a bullet for bein' free

Screamin', "What the *obscenity*!" at my TV
For tellin' me, yeah, are you tellin' me?
That I'm the only one, willin' to fight

Am I the only one not brainwashed?
Makin' my way through the land of the lost
Who still gives a shit, and worries 'bout his kids
As they try to undo all the things he did?

    [Chorus]
Am I the only one who can't take no more
Screamin', "If you don't like it there's the fuckin' door"
This ain't the freedom we've been fightin' for
It was somethin' more, yeah, it was somethin' more
Am I the only one, willin' to fight
For my love of the red and white
And the blue, burnin' on the ground
Another statue comin' down in a town near you

Lots of folks have covered this song and done a good job but Paul Robeson's version is my favorite.
