Those were the days, we called trench coats or similar London Fog, the early Matrix look. I remember first time I was around Billy Joe Royal; he came into the pool room in a London Fog coat 'owning the room' looking cool, he seemed like a nice man far as top chart singers. Remember the girls pulling the loops off shirts back then, well his was safe.
I guess it’s just me because of the impact it had on my life ….. I hate seeing advertising alcohol at sporting matches or even in newspapers. I rarely watch reality shows but the bits I’ve seen has anyone noticed just how much young women drink on those shows ? Like married at first site as an example
don't ride anymore...Had a Honda when I was in 50s but that wasn't;t the riding i though t you were referring to
In my vocabulary, there's riding (motorcycles, scooters, horses and bikes), driving (cars, trucks, golf cards, etc.) and flying (drones and planes).
I'm about to have a Crown Coke, hubby handed me a Mason fruit jar!. I don't like our heavy bar glasses but a fruit jar, I said, just hand me a wine glass.
That was fun while it lasted but 2 shots is enough. The parties over. No I won't put up the song, this time.
I'll be having a Shiner Bock with my dinner today. I usually have one beer a day, 4-5 days a week, normally at dinner time. I seldom get tipsy unless I drink the entire beer on an empty stomach.
I don't like or dislike beer, back probably 15 yrs ago I've been know to buy a 6 pack of Dos Mexico- Vienna Lager- 4.7% ABV. Dos Equis Ambar Especial is a classic Vienna-style lager with a full body and a smooth finish. With its signature amber color and subtle hints of roasted malts it pairs great with every kind of Mexican food - perfect for 2pm tacos or 2am tacos. I didn't buy it to eat Mex food but found how nice it was to my taste. My dad drank beer all his life and living in the East his choice mostly was Stoney's ... he would love it if I joined him a little drink with him. Water is my MOST liquid drink.
I have an old bottle of rum in plastic bottle I save for sanitation. I won't drink alcohol from plastic and it was left over from a party.
I am not defending alcohol much less tobacco smoke but some do benefit from moderate consumption of alcohol and survive tobacco use. Richard Overton oldest living veteran enjoyed his whisky and cigars till 112.Nice photos on the link, https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=b1bb...XRoZS1vbGRlc3QtbGl2aW5nLXUtcy12ZXRlcmFu&ntb=1
