Ok, I did that but went to the image at the top to do it, not the bottom of the frame. I will try that next, thanks Beth Most sites work like that and the photo stayed on after you put it up.
The only problem with my previous instruction is that your photos are probably not stored on your chromebook but on a google server. Hmmmm. (My one remaining brain cell is beginning to smoke.)
Yeah, I think you're right probably too many stored there, so have to maybe take some down. Anyway we're figureing it out so may we both should rest our remaining smoking brain cells. lol Thanks, Beth
I googled "chromebook pictures not showing up in forum post" and got some info, but I can't test any of it because I don't have a chromebook.
I always use my iPad, but I tried an experimental post with the Chromebook and here is what i had to do. All of my photos are on Google Photos, so stored in the cloud. First, I had to choose the photo, and save it as a file to the chromebook. Then, I did the regular thing of clicking on the “upload a file” box, and chose the picture file that i had downloaded from my google photos.
I will try that but need to find y'all's upload a file button too. Search it tomorrow. Thanks, Yvonne
I think that I just needed to know about the upload file button, which @Yvonne Smith and @Beth Gallagher , and @Ken Anderson , told me about so now I think it will work right. These are the vehicles we work on. Will be using a thumbnail next time.
You cannot post pics directly into a thread. You either use the Image icon on the comment toolbar, or the Upload a File feature your husband just used.
The image has to either be stored on the forum's server in order to be viewed or a valid link to where the image is stored has to be provided. If the link is to where it is stored on your computer or in your Google cloud, only those who have access to your computer or your cloud account will be able to view it.
