John, what does a tetanus booster have to do with "this environment"? I had a tetanus shot in August 2019, but my VA doctor has said a thing to me about getting a booster.

I take NO vaccines and keep my Vit C, Vit D, Zinc and Grape Seed Extract going into my body and I'm totally good...no colds, flu nada. We need to take care of ourselves and not the toxic lab jabs.

Well, Joy, your feelings, but, Thank God, not every ones feelings. I worked both in EMS and Senior Healthcare for a number of years. I know.

Well, too bad more don't think as I do. I've lost a lot of trust in medical and doctor world over 30 yrs ago. So we all have and do what we feel is best in our lives...

I don't trust what they might decide to inject me with, even if they said it was a tetanus booster.
I don't trust what's in the bottle that's been delivered to my doctor.

You need to get a tetanus booster every 10 years, because the original shot loses its effectiveness...as do subsequent boosters.

I wonder how much of the mistrust is merely a function of getting older and wiser. I think so much of my trust in so many things was misplaced.

With age comes life's experiences, and when I ended up in the ER from a pharma drug in the 80's that was the beginning of my path to "no drugs" if I can control it all. I've t hought about Celebrex over the years for the OA issues I deal with but the long list of possible side effects kept me from that drug. Also many years ago a similar drug to Celebrex, Voixx, came on the market and went off pretty fast. I remember that one.

My 57 yr old daughter feels this way as she's been thru TOO MUCH drug damage in her young life. She trusted some docs in her 40's....

Over my years of seeing doctors, and I did see allopathic MD's for some years and remember the line up of pharma drug sales people waiting their turn to get to the doctor. You don't see this in Integrative MD's offices. And then the doc would go to his cupboard and pull out samples for his patients to "try"....wonder if that still goes on, probably does.

Doctor's business are supported by pharma drugs and vice versa, the 2 support each other's end goals.

One small suggestion. If you take Vitamin d (3) take Vitamin k2 (7) so the calcium you get goes to your bones and not your veins.

10 years for "normal" people; 5 years if you work with livestock is what was recommended when last I checked.

I definitely rethought taking any flu pricks when they were offered FOR FREE at Walgreens! FREE! Most health problems are caused by and can be cured by diet. I don't get flu shots at all. But I take a lot of supplements. (and kale ;))

But don't you think that I and John Brunner might benefit from a little lock jaw?

I enjoy the posts both of you make. I had a friend who developed a mild form of tetanus from a toe injury. She was saved by antibiotics and perhaps a shot of antitoxin.

Cody if you believe and trust your decisions, then what I believe shouldn't have an effect on your choices, I feel strongly about what I do, and am comfortable with what I choose.

I had a tetanus shot probably 30 yrs ago due to a rusty nail and no boosters in all the years after that shot. I'm fine and wear shoes all the time...
