Are you afraid of anything? @Ruby Begonia Did you ever take a "detour" in your life that you regret now?
Ruby...my dear friend..and friend to so many of us....have you ever had a holiday romance...? What's your star sign? ...and do you have more of either male or female friends in your life? Soz I have to get in as many questions as I can...or I run out of time to ask them...
Holly, my dear friend also, No, I never had a holiday romance. I never went on a holiday without a husband or a SO. My star sign is Sagittarius (also rising). I had to stop and think about your last question... at one time I had more male friends than female. During the last 15 years or more, I find that most of my friends are female.
Thanks Ruby...I knew I liked you sagi's are a fire sign like Aries (me)... Apart from weddings...(yours or family)..and the birth of child/ grandchildren....if you could choose one day in your life that you could relive all over again which day would it be?
Holly it would be an early date with my ex, maybe the second. It was a Sunday drive down near the shore. We held hands while walking around during stops. I was so happy.
Hi @Ruby Begonia , I too am a Sagittarius, but that's all I know about the subject. I too live alone, and have since 12/30/14. My family are all gone except for a few grandchildren busy living their lives. I have never before lived on my own, and now I am learning to see the world with different eyes. I am beginning to look at things from my perspective, instead of as a child, wife, mother, or employee, and some of what I see is appealing. What are you seeing about being on your own as appealing?
Ina, it takes awhile to appreciate living alone. There's a sense of comfort and freedom you acquire. I was alone a long time but my then 11 year old grandson moved in with me about 10 years ago so I am not really alone. However, I will say I was content even before GS came. Freedom from stress, able to make my own rules, a sense of comfort is what I finally found.
Yes, living alone has its merits. What is your favorite indulgence that doesn't cost much? And then one that is more extravagant.
@Ruby Begonia , I am 64, so I don't set any long term goals at this time, but I am trying to find short term goals such as enjoying something each day. What kind of short term goals do you set for yourself? And do you set any long term ones now?
Ruby do you know who your ancestors were,..and where from originally..? have you ever performed an ancestry search?
Good morning @Chrissy Page. Low cost extravagance? I guess new flowering plants for my deck. More extravagant I think would be dinner at a good restaurant.
