In recent years, particularly since the Clinton Administration shared much of our space technology with the Chinese, China's presence in space has been growing, now to a point where they may have dominance in space. Is this a concern to you?
Not a concern to me, but I am concerned with their military dominance. Also the fact that they produce our medicines and other things that are necessary for our survival.
Of course, their dominance in space could be used to enhance their military dominance as well, which would be my chief concern.
Mine also! Whoever controls space and saatllites is the boss. China conti ually tries to shoot downb our satalites. There was a documentry on this years ago and how we have hundreds of people in the military that watxh the satallites 24/7. We have intercepter missles that have so far been successful. We have been in a war in space with China for years. Trump was trying to get our manufacturing back and the security we needed in medicines and necessities, but then the fascist greedy traitors like Biden took power by fraud. If China ever dominates in space, we are finished.
The key to the question lies within the two words, “growing dominance”. We read and hear what the Chinese are doing but the facts are that unless one has a “need to know” type of clearance, none of us actually knows what the U.S. has in space. Of the nearly 3,500 [known] satellites the United States has orbiting the earth, it would be almost ludicrous to believe that there isn’t a large degree of military presence roaming around. For all I know, the Chinese might be asking the very same question about us. But yeah, if indeed the balance of power in space is weighted heavily on the side of the Chinese, there might be some concerns but like being concerned over the weather, there’s nothing I can do about it if they did.
I think China's growing presence in space is why Trump created the Space Force. I personally think there should also be a Cyber Force, but, like intelligence, the military doesn't want to share and wants to control their own assets.
That's true. Unfortunately Americans have just grown fat and lazy, and seem to have little interest in maintaining what made us great. They can't even get office workers to return to work after Covid... how ridiculous is that? Apple employees were "revolting" when they were told to return to the office. I would fire all of their entitled asses and let them try to find another job at that pay scale. We need to be studying languages. Spanish and Chinese.
