Not much today, because of getting the 2nd Covid19 Booster yesterday morning, but getting our boat ready to take to marine service for "summerization", IOW, put back all of the clamps on hoses that were taken off and starting engine. We have never "winterized" or "summerized" either boat we've had. We let a marine service do all of that.

I'm building a kitchen table and a double bed headboard. I hope I don't get them mixed up. I'm getting old.

I'm working on moving some river rock around in the back yard. We have an area that is sloped for drainage that we had lined with rocks several years ago. Now they have sunk into the ground a lot and have some weeds. We bought some more rocks from Home Depot and those things are HEAVY. I am totally sweated down so I think I'll wait until this evening when it's cooler out there.

I purchased a Black and Decker pressure washer last Sunday at the flea market. The vendor was asking for $75 but she came down to $60. Woohoo! With that said I pressure washed a section of the privacy fence today. Amazing the difference.

Good for you! And you dickered on price.

I bought a gas powered one, but now wish I had purchased an electric.

The vendor saw how interested I was; I never said a word. :D It is electric and easy to operate.

Yeh, but, the aura of a professional shopper must ooze from your every pore. ;)

I bought a real nice gas one, and the gas went bad in it. It is so strong it etched a gouge in my deck before I dialed it back.

It's nice to hear from you, Von. A girlfriend once suggested I be power washed.

That sounds like a good deal! I bought a new high-powered electric one years ago for cleaning off the purple bird poo every mulberry season. They get it everywhere including the sides of my house. I haven't figured out how they do that. It sure beats using a scrub broom and a garden hose with a nozzle.

Sometimes silence is the best way to negotiate. Maybe clear your throat a couple of times to show you are interested but not satisfied with the inflated price. :D

    How ya doing Faye?

Yeah, me too. I guessed it was from the mulberry tree in the back yard. They got me a few times and I'm certain it will happen again but on my hat :D. Still need to clean their mess up though.

I am doing great! I think of you every time I walk past yard sales, our Sat. Market, estate sales, and rummage sales. Thrift stores too! :) I think I live in a vortex or more likely a reflection off my big windows that makes birds fly into my house and knock the poo out of themselves. My uncovered patio is blasted with it during the mulberry season. Once walking to the doctor, I had to walk under a powerline because of construction. I took a juicy purple one to the head. Too late to return home and luckily I was early enough at the docs to make a beeline to the restroom and clean it out.
