Pepperidge Farm has two that I'll eat: Chessmen and Brussels. Anna's Orange Thins and Ginger Thins are good. But my very favorite is:
I see Walkers at Cost Plus all the time, Ruby. They have some interesting things there but I seldom go. My favorite cookie would be a PB cookie, no specific brand or a white chocolate chip one. The ones that come in those big Costco packages.
@Ruby Begonia mmm Walkers looks good! I'll have to try them. My dad used to LOVE Fig Newton's - I never liked them.
Arlene, I forgot about Fig Newton's! I used to like them as a kid. Figs being one of the few fruits I'll eat. I always forget about them . Why not give them another try?
@Ruby Begonia nah, tried a few times. Never finished one. Just don't like them..but I like figs & dates.
Chrissy, ripe figs with Gorgonzola (or another blue cheese) are fabulous! As for dates, I saw on TV there's a place in CA that makes date milk shakes. Do you know it?
No, I don't since I don't care for milk shakes. Now you are making me hungry with figs and Gorgonzola. Looked it up though, 4th one down the list is called Ruby's. My daughter and grandsons are in Palm Springs this week....maybe the boys will try one. http://www.seriouseats.com/2008/05/best-date-shakes-in-southern-california.html
The second one sounds the best. I hope your boys try one so you can report back. Oh no, this doesn't have anything to do with cookies! Sorry.
I've been buying Back to Nature brand cookies lately. Anyone ever have those? I get the Fudge Mint, and Peanut Butter Cremes. Taste better than Girl Scout cookies to me.
I love cookies too and love Walker's shortbread cookies along with Milano & Pepperidge Farms cookies then comes Keebler's sandies. When budget is tight and I want a cookie I'll go to Walgreens and get their dollar packages or a Walmart .98 which prices went up recently locally.
