No maybe a typo, all the friends' grandkids tested negative and so did her 55 yr old daughter and her 76 yr old sister, they are all vaxxed. Neither of them tested positive.
Sorry you are feeling so awful Marie; I hope you and Jake will feel better soon. And ugh... a panic attack. I haven't had one of those since I was in treatment last year... very unpleasant. I am a homebody and seldom leave the house unless I have to. Our oldest daughter is in quarantine right now with Covid, though. She said it hasn't been bad but a nagging cough is annoying.
Here's a link to Flustar, a map of the US that shows the infection rates for the ailment of your choice: -COVID -Colds & flu -Cough -Strep -Fever -Flu I have no idea how accurate it is (or is not.)
That's what my neighbor's main symptom was. The asked their doc for a prescription cough syrup. Her chest symptoms went on for a few weeks. Regarding panic attacks: My current state of having a tube stick out of me had me waking at 4AM with them. I'd have to get up, walk around, then leave the light on when I'd go back to bed as though I were some little kid.
Thank you Beth and it is better right now but I told hubby leave the van in front so if I feel bad and need to leave I can. Also told him not to change into bed clothes, Ol unless he wants to drive in then, not to hospital but to civilization. Don't want to talk to anyone just see human beings. Isolation was ok long as you were able to stay busy or at least get help with some of the work, but not when your older. Or not for me.
Yes; she's doing well, thanks. Her symptoms haven't been bad at all except for the cough. She's got one more week of "isolation" and she's bored.
I hope you're doing OK with that, John. I swear I had PTSD after cancer treatment; the sight of an IV stand still makes my heart race, and the "antiseptic smell" of MD Anderson makes my stomach roll over.
John I am sorry for what your dealing with, and hope a better treatment comes soon. These panic attacks are nothing new, had them off and on since my late twenties. But they usually only come every several years.
Thank goodness, I really don't like to know when the younger generation is sick with this stuff out there. Of course, my kids would all qualify for SOC now.But still young to me.
A GD has been coughing for days, allergies? Negative for covid. Her mom will try and take her to doctor today. Seeing the multitude of the close packed people at the Queens funeral makes me cringe. Outbreak coming again?
the sun's been bombarding us with flares...i think increased radiation from that's irritating my whole system....or...farmers are crop dusting here for weeks...whew!
Just last week, we got our Senior High Dose Flu Shot (Fluzone). The doses of the Covid 19 #3 Booster that were sent to local hospital here, went extremely fast. But, as soon as they are available again here, we will get that #3 Booster. At least we will have the High Dose shot when we are gone for 4 days. So, we will be somewhat covered.
5 years ago, we would all be having a bad cold. Now everything is covid. There were some that got very sick from colds but they just had to run their course. Now, you never hear of anyone having a cold.
