New Civil Liberties Alliance This looks interesting. If it's legit, as it appears to be, it's been needed.
Give it time and we’ll see. The ACLU, if I recall correctly, started out with about the same mission statement but wound up being a boon to those who want freedom from religion and not of religion. And, not to be too picky, by the looks of the senior staff, they’ll get sued by the NAACP and the ACLU. The male to female ratio is about 50-50 but there’s no diversity when it comes to race. Seriously though, if indeed it is the real thing then it is something that we need badly.
Then again most of the alphabet groups are liberals and socialist. NAACP, ACLU, SPLC, BLM, ANTIFA. Not a one vote conservative.
They've already been involved in quite a lot of legal actions, and generally on the right side, in my opinion.
Thanks for the heads up Ken. I will certainly do some more research on them. The one I’m watching at present is the ADF (Alliance for Defending Freedom) which is a Christian non-profit legal organization that is best recognized for defending the baker (cannot remember his name) who wouldn’t do the gay wedding cake.
Your correct.I should have looked into it before I commented. I agree with them on protecting the homeowners ALTHOUGH I changed my mind about my first comment. I actually see both sides of this more now but stil don't feel the landlord is responsible for their shelter. It is a mess and yet they bring in more indigents from all over the world.
The NCLU is taking the State of Massachusetts to court. You may recall the "install voluntarily" COVID Tracker app that communicated with all the phones around you (and with the app's Mother Ship) so as to warn you when your phone came too close to another phone that was owned by someone who reported having COVID. The state of Virginia was pushing this. Well....it seems that there were not enough gullible people in Massachusetts...so the state worked with Google to just go ahead and secretly install the spyware on Android phones. The article reads: The claim is that only phones "located in the state" were affected.
