In short Ron, no. Notice that although they say that Paul is recovering nicely, there has been no statement issued by him concerning what really happened. I realize that some statements have to be kept quiet during an investigation but then again, whomever is doing the investigating isn’t saying that they actually talked to Paul. (thus far) Now, even if the perpetrator and Paul had a tryst going on and got into a lover’s quarrel and consequently Paul got whacked with a hammer, I doubt seriously if that’s what he’ll own up to. Even though everyone pretty much knows that Nancy and Paul are both heavy imbibers of liquid courage, neither one can risk any public exposure of a personal nature that might hamper their ability to bank the next few million beans. All that said, my personal assumption is that the guy in jail will probably hang himself with his tighty-whities anyway so no one will ever know the truth.
Also difficult to understand is who let the police in. Someone let the police in, we're told. We're also told that Paul Pelosi greeted them when they arrived. Did they take another break from the assault in order to greet the police before going back to struggle for the hammer or hammers?
Unfortunately, no. And I'm distrustful of law enforcement as well. Truth is a rare commodity these days.
An early video , from a drone/helo ? showed the balcony ? And that showed the glass on the floor all outside ? Odd for a break-"in" .
The strangest things happen just before a highly important election takes place. Nothing should be a surprise any longer.
Oh, and of course, the attacker was a nut. Everyone who has ever been in Pelosi's house is a nutcase.
All they have to do is keep it under cover until Nov. 8. The public has the attention span of a fruit fly. After the election, the news will all be about who won and why. The public will have forgotten all about the "vicious attack" on Nancy's husband.
Going on what was first released, it seems Paul opened the door to the cops, and went back into the house where he was subsequently attacked. Paul knew his name, so he wasn't a stranger.
An NBC reporter (Miguel Almaguer) got suspended for reporting the facts of this case. In a rare moment of honesty, NBC state that the factual story “did not meet NBC News reporting standards.” Apparently a Federal indictment against the attacker states that the police opened the door, which directly contradicts filings by San Francisco district attorney and local law enforcement, so the reporter and the local judicial system got thrown under the bus in deference to the truth as seen by Washington. Nothing to see here, folks. link
It’s frustrating but the only thing that matters at this point is how the story is going to be spun for a jury and moreover, how they are going to find an untarnished juror. I know of a half dozen scenarios plus the additions that have been handed out for public consumption so no matter what the truth is, there is no way that a prospective juror hasn’t heard at least one of those phony scenarios that are made to make Pelosi look as pure as the driven snow. As for me, I wouldn’t even get picked to be a juror simply because the only part of all the stories that i believe is that Paul was whacked with a hammer. and it was his guest who did the whacking. On top of being motivated by my own opinion about what happened, I would also suspect that most of those who will serve on the witness stand will be practicing their “perjury for profit” techniques. I do apologize if it sounds cold but the thought of a white guy in boxers (or tightie whities) standing in the middle of a room with a hammer in one hand and duct tape and wire ties in the other whilst yelling “WHERE’S NANCY?” brings up an image that could only be seen in a grade z horror movie.
Yeah, apparently the Pelosi family has no security at the house even though the U.S. government is billed for it. If you want a dish of ice cream or whatever, you just stop by Paul and Nancy's for quick bite...or bonk. anyone can just walk into the house.
