Ours, not too fast. We're in New York and we've been stopped here for far too long now, while a bunch of masked people are boarding. I guess they're still doing masks in NYC, but not requiring it of regular people. There were very few people with masks in Boston and almost none north of Boston. Interestingly, three or four of the masked people in our car alone are coughing.
I am starting to become a little concerned because of all the coughing coming from the people who boarded in New York. Is it the masks or is everyone in NYC sick?
Maybe you will get going again soon. It's sad with all the crazy masks and shutdowns we've had the last couple of years. I hope that stuff will go away and things become normal again.
If you have a mask, you might wear it until you get off that train, or that's what I would do. Mask never made me cough when I had to wear them, I just don't like them.
I suspect that those in large cities are more likely to have various respiratory diseases, including influenza. Good luck, @Ken Anderson.
I don't carry a mask. Interestingly, the lady who sat in the seat directly across the aisle from me was complaining to one of the AMTRAK attendants because someone was talking in the "quiet car," this despite the fact that she coughed up a storm and sniffled the whole trip. Why on earth do people take train trips when they're sick?
I didn't take any pictures from in the train or at the Washington DC Union station because the cars were packed full of people and our Uber came shortly after we arrived in D.C. Maybe on the way back.
