Now, to a point, you are getting us wrong! We don't "dislike" gays, but simply don't agree with their sexual preference. The way we see it, the entire community of GLBTQ are pushing very hard for total acceptance. They aren't going to get it from everyone. Cody, Wyoming decided not to have a Pride Parade and most of the GLBTQ community left the city/town. Our great niece is a lesbian, but we are still sending her, and her wife/husband? a Christmas card with a $25 Gift Card in it. As far as tattoos go, the tattoos of years ago was fine, but the full hand/arm/neck/back/legs/face definitely aren't to us. It all reminds us of the Freak Show that use to be a part of the Old-Time Circus. In fact, the title Freak Show was on the outside of the tent. The Marine had to do something for Russia to detain him and convict him, didn't they? I know very little-to-nothing about the Marine situation.
FIRST and foremost, go educate yourself and then come back and tell everyone why you would choose a trans and tatted up basketball player caught holding illegal substances in another country over a highly trained United States Marine. Until then, I’m not even going to bother replying to you.

Check your sources, @Cody Fousnaugh . I believe she/he posted on Twitter that she/he hated America. That is where that "rumor" came from.
If she indeed say that, it was because she had to play the off-season of women's basketball in Russia due to the WNBA not paying the players of WNBA enough. Now, I did read that.
The news keeps referring to her as a "hostage," suggesting she was unfairly imprisoned under "trumped-up drug charges," but she broke a law that pretty much anyone should have known about when traveling to a foreign country. People have done more time for the same crime in the United States. Just because the US is about to legalize it nationwide doesn't (and shouldn't) negate the laws of another country.
Sounds like just another of the silly Biden promoting stories to me. The idea of Biden rescuing a poor hostage girl sounds much more dramatic then the truth that he exchanged a deadly arms dealer for a convicted drug user, when he could have exchanged for our Marine.
The United States doesn't leave anyone behind, unless they're in Afghanistan or a member of our armed forces.

And, lest we forget, Griner was traded for a guy who dealt weapons to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda which in turn, killed American soldiers. I’ve tried to wrap my head around the whole debacle and the only thing I can think of is that Griner was sentenced to 9 years and Viktor Bout had 7 years left out of his 25 years sentence.
Sad but true, Ken! Griner refuses to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Biden is Putin's puppet and really botched an opportunity to bring an American patriot prisoner home from Russia. Biden had to bring Griner home to appease the "woke" criminals that control the USA. End of the story! The war in Ukraine is Bidens war, not Putin's. Biden is a traitor on several levels and is the most dangerous man in the USA because of those foreign and domestic powers that control him.
