Suppose that for whatever reason, you had to give up all but two of your own, personal possessions, not friends, family, or people, just possessions. What would they be? Frank
I would keep my car and my credit card. I could drive to Walmart and buy everything else. Plus I would not look so out of place being naked among all those Walmart people.
Thank you for thinking of that loin cloth, @Terry Page ... my goodness, @Frank Sanoica is a harsh taskmaster, isn't he? No clothes! Hmmm... thinking. Okay, I'd want a really comfy pair of jammies since I'd be wearing them forever. (And don't you dare say I have to count a PAIR of jammies as two items, Mr. Sanoica!) And my computer, natch. 'Cause with my computer I could still HAVE contact with my family and friends, my books, my Bible, and all kinds of other things and information.
Probably wouldn't work, @Shirley Martin ... @Frank Sanoica even took our clothing, so I doubt he'd let you have your WalMart goodies. You're right about your attire being okay for WalMart, though.
Well, so far, no one is in agreement with my own choice of "keepers"; I will reveal that down the road a ways, so others might add their thoughts. Needless to say, my reply will shut down interest in the OP, or enliven it beyond Ken's liking..........can't ever tell with forums. That's what's so interesting! Frank
He didn't say we couldn't replace our possessions. So I'm off to Walmart with my trusty ol' credit card.
My cellular iPad, (no need for an in house connection), and food. I can weave something to wear out of the tall grasses. With food I can bargain for my other necessaries.
