it's great to see a people make the critical changes in order to improve their children's lives. i choose to raise my son in 3rd world conditions, playing in mountain mud, swimming in the ocean, while living on an island (with lots of aunts 'n uncles.)

Daycares in Finland built a 'forest' and it changed kids' immune systems

"While the findings don't hold all the answers, they do support a leading idea – namely that a change in environmental microbes can relatively easily affect a well-established microbiome in children, giving their immune system a helping hand in the process."

i've been developing strategies for managing my skin microflora. rethinking techniques for maintaining a healthy host environment while not becoming offensive and staying relatively "clean".

i used to wonder how hygiene looked in ancient times... and how we now project our beliefs on other peoples.

    "On your island" ?
I ask because on the internet, in person, in the usa, in most news from most countries,
people are simply getting worse and making things worse for not only their own children, but for their neighbors, their friends, their fellow countrymen, people in other countries, and all this for their 'friends and family' ..... not to mention as if it is a secret for their enemies overwhelmingly....

Do you still wonder about some of those ideas?
Wonder how some towns, families, groups , avoided the problems others died from ?
Wonder why they got blamed for the plagues, by the multitudes who suffered and died ?
Even the last three years .... more dramatically and in the news than I've ever seen, or probably more than anyone else has ever seen ....

Most of our generation were "outside kids," at least everyone I knew. We'd eat breakfast and disappear outdoors. Seems that today's kids are all glued to some electronic device and never see the sun.

i sort of imagine that a few islands in the visayas (central philippines) were my own, and treat them as such. the locals would probably disagree...

i was reading "year of wonders" by geraldine brookes on a flight to the middle east when covid was announced... it's a historical fiction based on real people about the plague years. talk about prophetic.

it's a struggle these days when a nurse would report you for dancing in the puddles with your toddler in tow. i've found the only way to distance my child from too much technology is to provide enough to live comfortably in an area that lacks easy internet access. those places are harder to come by as time passes.

also, it's important for me to have him experience some hardship but not really have to suffer.

Do you like doing gentle research ? I saw reprints of plans, plans that were published in 1972, 1976, 1982, and/or other various years, some much older, of the "planned"- well, not 'prophetic' per se, just a published plan for the whole shush-kabob.... "manufactured" news decades ahead of time ?

oh yeah, i am aware... it's just ridiculous to consider that people think they can manage such a scheme. i guess the new trend in time pieces should be a "suicide watch".
