Cheese Rolling? A 9 lb round of cheese is rolled, and competitors start racing down the hill after it. The first person over the finish line at the bottom of the hill wins the cheese.

I seem to remember my dad taking me to hydroplane races, not sure where though. I think they used to have them on the Potomac River near or in DC.
I came across my son's horseshoes in the basement as I was purging this morning. This sport you don't hear much about but it's still around. It was a big thing at our family reunions at my grandparents.
I still have a set of horseshoes in the basement somewhere. Also a wooden croquet set I got for Christmas in Ohio. We used to play croquet a lot.
I've never played croquet but have watched it being played before. So I Wiki-ed it. Wow, lots of decisions to make before even playing.
