1958 Edsel Mercury Citation Convertible, "very rare". 1959 Edsel Corsair Skycruiser Retractable Hardtop.
Anything made by Panoz LLC. All of their models have only sold no more than in the 100s of units. This was my own 1999 Panoz AIV roadster. Only 220 were made as of the date I bought mine (used). Below the picture is a link to explore more of Panoz cars. They only build high performance, single or 2 seater cars, a real “American” car company too. https://panoz.com/ Also, here’s a video about it if anyone is interested.
It really was, fantastic handling and of course with a SVT Cobra engine in a 2,500 lb. car, that was pretty exciting too. I got a tag with the car name but my second choice was “twitchy”. Everything about the car happens rather abruptly when driving, LOL. I sold it because my wife has had 3 different surgeries on her right side and shoulder and she could no longer lift herself out of the car. You have to enter and exit it like a race car. Someone even did a video of how to do it.
That would change things after her surgery, for sure. It looks quick just looking at it. Cool video on how to enter and exit it. I use to have an Uncle, years ago, who drove one similar to that one. Not as nice as that one, of course.
