RestiI don't care for this performer but I do like this song, my oldest granddaughter sent it to me 15 years ago when I hadn't spoken to her for 3 years,
Long before George Strait became well known. Kelly was the House entertainer for Wells Fargo Club Houston, from opening night until it finally closed years later. The band was about the best of any of the clubs in the 70s. Kelly had several records over the years but this one was my favorite. The difference in Kelly and George Strait was that Kelly could sing any song and sing it well. He had to because they played from 8 until 2 in the morning 7 days a week. Kelly died several years ago, it was a real shocker because I was still following his career on facebook.
You can always tell when they are doing something right, they don't last long. Guess they weren't going along to get along, huh? Kennedy warning about wars, military complex like Eisenhower peeved somebody off.
Years before Rod Stewart was popular he was recording with Jeff Beck. One record I remember was Black Cat.
