Thanks, Ken, John was telling me how there's an Infra View site, that resizes photos, so thought I should check that out too. I'm gonna go back to How do I and check it out. Thanks again.

Your computer should be capable of doing that.

I think you are right because I resized one before for an avatar once, and it worked. I'm going to try to resize the one she sent us, and see what happens when I put it up. Thanks.

Focus on the pixel width. An 800-pixel-width or lower works best, although the forum will accept up to 1000-pixel-width, but it's more likely to flip at the higher size. Usually, it won't though. I usually. use 1000-pixel-width but I do sometimes have to flip them back. Make sure that you've checked "proportional" so that the height will adjust proportionately to the width. I think that's usually the default, anyhow.

I put it at 640 x 480 and it worked, then I put it up for you on How do I, thumbnail size there, clicked it, and it up straight up.

It's been a learning curve with this particular forum to attach a job, jpeg, gif or others...

Thankfully, after reading the stuff above, proud to say "Yeah! Got it... Woohoo!"

    Thanks y'all

When are loading photos, going to "work", again, says "error", too large, no matter the size?

There is no way of knowing. It's in the hands of the hosting server business we've been having issues with.

They're either, "not in a hurry", or not, "savvy", like you. :)

Yeh, and we all agree with you...it sucks. I keep one of those photo hosting websites open to run my pics through, and trust them when they say they never delete photos.

Ken is discussing getting us to a better server with these people. I think that was a couple of weeks ago. Since this is in someone else's hands, all of the answers are gonna be non-answers if we're looking for a definitive date.

Most of my problems with the web is my lack of tech skills. This little A-I is cool, it even gives out the correct wording at times.

How are things coming along with the better server so we can add avatars and photos without a photo hosting website? Just curious.

Not the same forum without being able to post photos …and it’s oblivious no one’s in a hurry about fixing it ….oh well,

You can run your photos through a hosting website...it's pretty easy. And (sadly), fixing this is in the hands of the forum's hosting service.

Every time I post a link from a hosting website, I think of the PhotoBucket debacle. I hate seeing a bunch of broken links when stuff gets messed up.
