Pat was my friend, since passed away. We all loved the cat and would not have abused her. Amber treated Pat's sisters the same way as me, hissing at them if they tried to pet her. They're cat lovers and they think the video is funny.
Oh good heavens; you didn't need to take the video down. Like I said, I'm no cat expert but I excel in wise-assery.
Sorry about your friend. I'm sure you didn't abuse the cat; she looks well cared for. Animals are like people; they have their own personalities.
Cats are adorable little sociopaths, in some ways. They might love you one moment, but if they're in a bad mood, they'll lash out at whoever is convenient. They won't necessarily do that physically, but they're not overly concerned about anyone's feelings. Ella is mad because we got Bubba, so she hisses and growls at me a lot, and she's threatened to slap me a few times, but hasn't quite gotten up the courage for that. In between, she loves me, and when she wants something from me, she loves me a lot.
People don't credit cats with enough intelligence to have a sense of humor. My friend Pat's Amber had just such a sense of humor. She knew she was well cared for but pretended she was abused. She was teasing her humans.
It could be that Amber misses Pat and it does seem as though she prefers female company as you mentioned Pat's sister too
Dwight, what you said to Beth was a little rude...you should have said "intelligent trousers" instead of "smarty pants"!
If the pants fit, I'm gonna have to wear 'em, Hal. (Dwight and I like to trade barbs; I think he's winning. Dang.)
@Ken Anderson, is there a certain way that you have to load videos from your library, or is it the same as loading photos, from your library? It acts like it gonna load, but then it doesn't. Tried to copy it as I do on youtube, but it doesn't give the option to copy the URL. It says copy link address. The video is short, so I don't think that it's a size issue.
Videos should be uploaded to Youtube first (or Facebook, Vimeo, and a couple of others). When you upload something to Youtube, there will given a link that can be used, or you can simply click on the video on Youtube and copy the link from the URL action field on your browser. Once you have that, you won't be uploading the video here but clicking on the Media icon (between the Image icon and the Insert icon). It's the icon that looks like a section of a film. When you click on the Media icon, a box will pop up for you to paste the URL to the video on Youtube.
