I I enjoy listening to your stories and your love of music because of your mother's musical talents. I have a similar story with my father he was a crooner with a local following of family and friends. He had a passion for music and the knowledge of the big bands that fascinated me in my growing years. The first thing I did when I got home from work was put the music on I believe because of this two of my three daughters were involved with music one is a music teacher and the other study musical theater and performs locally.
How wonderful that you were influenced by your father and now have two daughters who carry it on. Music is good for us. Tony hows it going, saw your comment in your profile on sidebar today.
I try to stay positive but there's just too many things going on this is not the thread to talk about them. One of the things that I enjoy yet is the music and some TV shows.
Yes, he is 80% deaf. I met him several years ago at a gun shop. He's very friendly. I was standing next to him & when I recognized him, I said out loud, "Why do I feel so small, all of a sudden?" He really chuckled at that one.
Joy at the start Fear in the journey Joy in the coming home A part of the heart Gets lost in the learning Somewhere along the road Along the road Your path may wander A pilgrim's faith may fail Absence makes the heart grow stronger Darkness obscures the trail Cursing the quest Courting disaster Measureless nights forebode Moments of rest Glimpses of laughter Are treasured along the road Along the road Your steps may tumble Your thoughts may start to stray But through it all a heart held humble Levels and lights your way Joy at the start Fear in the journey Joy in the coming home A part of the heart Gets lost in the learning Somewhere along the road Somewhere along the road Somewhere along the road
