My friend @Craig Wilson has lost his beloved pooch, Bubbles. He was a well loved little fella by Craig and his wife. This Animal Quiz is in memory of Bubbles as every animal lover out there will know the grief that Craig and his wife are going through. So R.I.P Bubbles, you'll be sorely missed and this quiz is dedicated to you. 1. Which animal is described as a Mans Best Friend? 2.Which animal is traditionally measured by human hands? 3. In the film Beethoven, which breed of dog is Beethoven? 4. In the film Lassie, which breed of dog is Lassie? 5. How long are female elephants pregnant for? .
I am sorry to hear that @Craig Wilson has lost Bubbles, and I know that losing a beloved pet is like losing part of your family. I remember Craig talking about Bubbles back when she was so sick before, and then she got better. Sending you hugs to help as you grieve your loss, Craig……
That was very touching @Yvonne Smith. I think you are referring to my young dog Bonnie when she swallowed chocolate and we rushed her to the vet to have her stomach pumped as she'd have died otherwise. Bubbles was a male and he battled a heart defect his past 7 years. He was a stoic little critter and is sorely missed by us. Our grief is tempered to an extent as we still have our Bonnie hopefully well into our dotage. Do you and hubby have pets?
Thank you Shirley. Sending you a hug. Bubbles was a big part of our life for 16 years, some 90 human yrs. I will miss not having him as my shadow as he followed me everywhere I went.. even to the toilet. True.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved bubbles @Craig Wilson sending you a and Mrs Craig a hug all the way from South Aust
I know it sounds childish but to lesson the grief my wife and I tell ourselves that Bubbles is now reunited with the two dogs he grew up with, Pepsi and Chloe. Pepsi was a 'Sheltie' a Shetland Sheepdog and Chloe a Golden Retriever. One of the most beautiful memories we have was when Bubbles, who was tiny as a pup, would grab Chloe's tail and in an effort to free the pesky pup she would swing around with Bubbles still attached to her tail.We were in stitches. Perhaps this was where Bubbles picked up his excitement helicopter spin later on.
That’s a very touching sweet memory of you dear little boy @Craig Wilson not childish at all …it’s sweet and loving memories ..he was a white fluff ball of fun I think from memory ? Your other precious little one Bonnie may be feeling his loss as well so give her an extra cuddle as well
No this was Bubbles (foreground) Bonnie, the white fur ball, with her fave squeakie toy. Believe it or not, both are from the same Spanish breed, Havanese. Unable to insert that pic. Help @Ken Anderson
Why is the selected image not submitting. I need it for my post as it showed my two dogs together, my just deceased one and my younger one.
I don't know what you mean by not submitting. If you mean that the forum is not accepting it, the problem might mean that it's too large. There is a maximum file size in MB but I don't remember what that is. Generally, if the image is 1,000 pixel-width or smaller, it should be within that limit.
