I won't know until after I get up from my nap, rain is about to crank up and if we lose power I won't eat anything but maybe a peanut butter sammi.
The family and I are going out sort of for my birthday. The restaurant is a pub with great food. and Wednesday is half price pizza that is amazing.
Leftover chicken breasts, cooked in the crock pot in salsa and cooked rutabagas with butter. Even for me that's an odd combo but both were leftovers.
I couldn't do leftover chicken parmesan for another supper, so out came the cottage cheese and applesauce. I had awesome freshly made clam chowder at a rural small-town country mom-and-pop cafe for lunch, so not all that hungry.
Potato bread with 4 heaping tablespoons of refried beans spread on and topped with shredded Mexican cheese blend. Microwave the bread with beans for 30 seconds, then add the cheese and give it another 30 seconds. A bit labor-intensive for me, but a girl has to eat so I persevere.
Saturday night I bought some carry out calamari and potato skins. I added a salad and a dinner roll and had that last Saturday night and last night. I'll get 2 more meals out of it...leftovers are in the freezer.
