Contrary to the above statement, Ruby Tuesday’s is a good place but I simply do not like their hamburger buns. The salad bar is extensive and the rest of the fare is pretty reasonable so beyond the hamburger buns, I really have no problem with the place.
We get the "steak/loin" type burgers and, yes Bobby, I wish their buns were better. There Salad Bar is definitely something else. Once in a while I will get their Rib Eye, instead of the burger, but last night was "burger night" and we both have a 1/2 burger left over for lunch today. Now, the burger I absolutely love is In-and-Out Burgers, but there's none here. Hey, just another reason to move back to Colorado...….. In-and-Out Burger is there. LOL
I think the Ruby Tuesday salad bar is the best .. they have so many choices and quite honestly I can make my meal just the salad bar and still feel like I went out to eat.
We always observe St. Valentines Day, but we never go out to eat on that day, because it's too crowded and noisy, and not properly romantic. We have our St. Valentines dinner either a few days before or after the Holiday, and exchange our Cards, Chocolates, Flowers and Power Tools then. Hal
I am considering being a sweetheart today, but no promises. Happy Valentine's Day to all of you that celebrate it. .
We've "tamed down" our Valentines Day celebrating. Due to Diabetic II, no candy. I did send my wife an absolutely beautiful Valentines Day card (online) that she got "teary-eyed" looking at it. If things go ok, we are planning on going to Applebee's for dinner. However, our next "big/huge" event is our 22nd Wedding Anniversary on the 10th of next month (March). That dinner will be a steak/lobster dinner. We've already got our Anniversary gifts for each other.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We still have my wife's white teddy bear and it's holding a big red heart that says "Love" on the heart, that I bought her in 2017. We put it in our living room for today. I also sent my wife a (to me) beautiful "wife" online Valentine's Day card that she loves. After she gets off of work (at home) at 4PM, we will put on our best western clothes and black felt hats, and head to the South Point Garden Buffet for a nice Prime Rib Valentine's Day Dinner and perhaps hit a slot machine or two while there. There is a Cutting Horse Futurity going on at the Equestrian Center there this week, so we shouldn't be "out of place" wearing western clothes.
Happy V-D, everyone!! We're having steaks and baked potatoes from Texas Roadhouse, but we're getting it as takeout to avoid the crowd. Hubby sent me some beautiful flowers and I got him a box of Turtles candy, his favorite.
That is not the best abbreviation to use, @Beth Gallagher ( was chuckling as I read it); but wishing the same back to you, in the best possible way….
We grilled steaks last night, as the wife is Catholic and this is Ash Wednesday. I bought roses, but they apparently had encountered cold temps in transit, so they fell apart. The thought was there though.
