I've just been taking some scraps out for the birds and my heart warmed to see fresh buds appearing on most of my shrubs, looks like spring is making an appearnace. I'll have a good scout around the site and then I'll post more. Thanks for having me onboard.
Welcome, Bert. The buds here are behind the normal and the birds have their feathers ruffled and lack in cheerful attitude. Glad you are seeing spring. I am in Oregon, way up the giant river where the mighty sturgeon still swim.
Hello Bert. I'm Jessica from Lancashire UK. We are also expecting spring after a freezing cold winter.
How kind of all you members to welcome me, thank you, it was a nice gesture. I'm living between two places, in South Yorkshire and Staffordshire with family members. I mentioned the buds popping on my shrubs, and on further investigation, all the spirea cuttings I took last year are showing good growth, so I am quite pleased, me being an amatuer, amatuer gardener.. Thank you all again.
