Same-o here as past week--temps near 0 F. at night in the low 20s during the day with light snow. Nothing bad, but snow is predicted tomorrow. We'll see.
We're supposed to get rain starting at midnight, then rain/sleet throughout Sunday, ending at midnight.
We have had an incredibly mild winter. There have only been 4 or 5 days that I would call winter. The high has been 75º several days this week. The plants have started budding. I just hope we don't get a hard freeze and kill them.
Typical February weather for here. We got around 8 inches of snow over the weekend, just enough to be a nuisance but no big deal. Pleasant winter temps in the 20s F. dropping into the teens overnight.
Down near 0 F. this morning. No new snow but more is predicted tomorrow. The sun is shining and on the white snow presents snow blindness dangers. We are gaining almost 6 minutes of daylight each day, so life is brighter and I am planting long-season crops.
-5 F. this morning. Just spoke with my son in Kansas City. He said this is when he doesn't miss Alaska. He likes the cold and snow for Christmas, but then he wants it to go away. It won't go away here for a couple months at least.
Well, Storm Olive is coming tomorrow. Supposed to be bringing 12 inches of snow. Will believe it when I see it and hope I don't.
