The writers assume DeSantis is running.
Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis are very far apart in their views. Haley is part of the "Deep State" while DeSantis apparently is not.
Nikki Haley used to be far more to the left than she pretends to be today, and I don't trust that she's changed that much.
