I loved it when I lived in Western Washingon, and Seattle is probably the epitome of what we think of when we think about Western Washington. Driving in downtown Seattle could be a nightmare, for sure; but living far enough away that we could shop in one of the smaller towns, and still see the awesome Cascade mountain range, was a great compromise. My favorites especially were the magestic peaks, Mts. Rainier, Adams, and St. Helens, and to the south, sometimes you could also see Mt. Hood. This song about Seattle says it all for me......
First heard the songs of IZ on my first trip to Maui, bought the CD and always listen before I go again. He died young, only in his 20's.
I love that song from the very first time I heard Izzy sing it..... One of my favourites is a song that is also Hawaiian, and I think it was an advert for coffee....I don't understand a word of it..but I like it anyway lol...
