"Gnarly." That's all I'm gonna say. And as you said, I can clip my own nails. I don't like fancy restaurants because I find over-attentive waiters to be intrusive. I certainly don't want someone else clipping my toenails. And note that none of the other male members have posted in this thread.
Never had one. Don't plan to, until I can't do it myself. Then it would be a trim only. Nothing fancy. Beside my feet are too ticklish. I can't even use a nail brush on them myself.
I get 6 yearly and love the hot rock leg massage and foot wax that finishes off the therapy. I seldom get nail color other than a "pinker shade of pale." What I hate now is the raise in price and no more wine served since covid. It was the only time I drank wine.
Faye, I like that foot wax therapy too, and my Pedicure place offers wine only on Fridays, isn't that interesting (4 ounces) I don't partake, because I am allergic to all wines and their sulfates. Now being they don't offer Baileys, I take one of their specialty teas and relax. *Prices gone up for sure.. Six pedicures yearly sounds quite wonderful to me
Had one professional pedicure several years back. I can still cut my own and clean in and around them. HAve to do hubbys because he can not reach them, too much tummy area and bad hands.
I soak my feet first, too. I also taught my husband to soak his before cutting the nails; it just makes the job so much easier.
