I am no lawyer, but as far as I know you can carry concealed or open any place you are allowed to legally be unless the owner or proprietor posts otherwise. Can't carry in schools by Federal law, but every hunter in this state carries firearms near a school, since most rural schools are near highways. We don't require permits to carry concealed. My wife asked a Catholic priest if we needed to be concerned about violence when churches were being threatened by the LGBTQ folks, but his reply was, "So many people who attend are packing, I don't think it will be a problem." The Methodist minister up the road who was an acquaintance and farm customer told us during Covid that he just closed the church temporarily since he was mandated to require masks, and his congregation was Libertarian and armed and wouldn't obey any mask mandates. Everybody here owns guns, but not everybody carries. Hunters open carry, but anyone else carrying open is just making themselves a target.
