Foods That Make You Go Ewwww

I do not hate Circus Peanuts. But then I eat marshmallows straight from the bag sometimes.

 

Years ago, a friend of mine who was born & raised in Idaho tried for months to talk me into trying biscuits & gravy. He reassured me that there was nothing wrong with eating it; he said he's been eating it for years. Finally, during a road trip, he stopped at a truck stop & I agreed to try it. It took some courage because it looked like something I shouldn't eat. The gravy had the consistency of glue. I ate one biscuit & a couple of spoons of gravy.
A few hours later, I regretted it. It felt like I swallowed a brick. Then, terrible heartburn for hours.

 

@Beth Gallagher I just saw this and I say it like that too. You know phonics ain't no joke. No one has ever corrected me.

 

I'm a picky eater I'll be the 1st to admit it I don't eat broccoli, spinach, I don't like most green vegetables, However I will eat green peppers raw in a salad. The only beans I eat are baked beans. I don't like liver, or Lamb. I eat the basic fruits Orange, apples, peaches, plumbs, I don't care for pares, Won't eat mangoes, avocados And a lot of the tropical fruits.

 

I happen to love the circus peanuts. I only buy them when I come across them. Brings back childhood memories with my sisters. Arguing mostly of who has more. I think they were 'Be quiet' or 'Be still' candy even for just a little while. When my Mom worked on the Base she would bring home all kinds of candy those were one of them.

 

My parents were children of the depression and farmers, so when it came to hog killin' time they used "everything but the oink."

And most sausages used to be made using intestines as the sausage casings. Yum.

 

I'd probably like them, too. I like all that marsh-mallowy junk candy like "Peeps."

On April 3, Consumer Reports, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization, issued a press release confirming that it had urged Just Born Quality Confections to stop its use of Red Dye No. 3, which is used in the candy company’s purple and pink Peeps products.

Red Dye No. 3 is also known as Erythrosine and FD&C Red #3 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which approves its use.

Consumer Reports announced in a recent press release that it had contacted Just Born Quality Confections earlier this year about concerns over the company’s use of Red Dye No. 3 in the Peeps candies, which has been found to cause cancer in animals.Joe Raedle / Getty Images
Note: The FDA Has red dynamic 3 on the approved list, However they are re evaluating it.

 

Luckily, I only ever bought the yellow ones, and it has been many years ago.

 

It feels so good to spill it doesn't it, just being honest about hating Circus peanuts, and I feel like I've
unburdened myself of tension and stress, feeling 5 pounds lighter, and to top it off, I just weighed in
and the scale is down those pounds LOL

 

Well I like olives, however if there are a set of eyeballs looking up at me from my plate I Pass.
