We were at the garden center yesterday and I noticed some Easter cactus in a display, so I had to get one for my kitchen window. It's kind of small but has a lot of buds ready to open.
I am trying to get some leaves of ours to grow ..but not happening. I watched video about wrapping ends in wet paper towel . i check daily but nothing yet.

My niece kept saying it was a Christmas cactus but after looking it up ..is Thanksgiving cactus. Has the pointy tips. They are grown a bit different.
I never even knew there was such a thing as "Thanksgiving" and "Easter" cactus until about a year ago. To me they were all Christmas cactus. I might try to root a piece of my larger plant in some water.
