Just a couple days ago, I was reading that Fox News has let Dan Bongino go, one of their most conservative news hosts, and this morning, I see that they have also let Tucker Carlson go, who is probably the most listened to person in any news network.
I did not see why this is happening, so I am not sure if it is because they are too conservative (and truthful) for the news anymore, or if there is another reason.
Bobby said it might be due to the recent lawsuit, and Fox simply can’t afford to pay their huge salary anymore. Regardless of why this happened, I seems like this might be the last blow against Fox News, because most of their listeners/watchers are conservatives who watched both Bongino and Carlson.
The news article said they will just have the news with rotating anchors in these spots until they choose a permanent host again.

Twitter is full of news about Carlson leaving so suddenly, and it seems to be divided on whether he wanted to leave, or was fired for some reason. Either way, people are saying that they are no longer going to be watching Fox News, and their stock has totally crashed this morning.
Since we never watch any television news anyway, nothing much will change for me. I get my news from places like Rumble and following patriots on youtube and Twitter news.
Dan Bongino is already on Rumble, and I imagine that Tucker Carlson will either do the same or get a good contract for some place like Spotify that hosts podcasts.
It is going to be very interesting to see what happens next !

Now, they are announcing that CNN has fired Don Lemon , unexpectedly, at least to him, according to his statement. Since CNN has been in free fall for some time now, this is probably not going to make a lot of difference for their audience; but it does seem strange that over one week, we have news channels losing/firing some of their best talent.

From what I have just read, the T. Carlson release was already in progress before the Dominion law suit but that said, Carlson said he’d be back Monday night (tonight) at the end of his show on Friday.

I’m almost taking bets that Carlson’s release is the result of a dispute between he and Murdoch and the full showing of the Jan. 6 tapes. Carlson initially said he’d show more than the one but after Chuck Schumer got on Murdoch’s back about the showing, the rest of the tapes were canceled.

Bongino said it was a contract dispute and there were no hard feelings between him and the network. I know nothing about Carlson. Bongino has his radio show and his Rumble channel, so he doesn't need Fox. Carlson may do the same. Rush Limbaugh did just fine with only a radio show.

Carlson's demise may have been tied to this...

"The voting company recently settled with the network, but not before text messages and emails by Carlson and other network personalities were made public as part of court filings.

In one of the exchanges made public, Carlson texts a colleague: "We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can't wait."

"I hate him passionately," Carlson added, per The Washington Post.

The text exchange was dated Jan. 4, 2021, two days before pro-Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election."

I had a feeling Tucker didn't have long to go at Fox. When he got access to what had said was a whole lot of film of the January 6 protests that the media decided to call an insurrection, he played one part of it, of the horned guy walking through the Capital building. Then, although he promised there would be more to come, there wasn't, and I figured Fox wasn't allowing it to be broadcast.

As for Carlson and Trump, Carlson said what his audience wanted him to say most of the time, but just before the election, when it mattered the most, he began attacking Trump. Tucker Carlson has never been our knight on a white horse coming to free us from misinformation. Tucker is more of the Ted Cruz kind of Republican, and not one who would actually change anything given the power to do so.

I did see that too, and thought what was this all about, like a "staged" setup of some sort was my thought. People were replying that they never saw this guy in the crowd at all before that was put up.

I do need to mention my honest thoughts about Tucker who I really liked when I first started watching him back during Trumps Election to President. But lately when I tried to watch him, for example, he would be talking about kamala let's say, and about her laugh, then I noticed him getting more into his (what I would call) almost hysterical laughter that seemed over the top, or even inappropriate??

Oh, I enjoyed Tucker's show too. It was his sincerity that I doubted.

I think the BBC is pretty straight up news. Tucker Carlson left Fox today but they gave no information as to why did he leave, or did he get fired like the Poof donna lemon who also saw the door this morning from communist network news cnn. Now with Tucker I doubt he was fired but he ask to leave his contract or what ever, we'll wait for his personal telling of the situation. I find it incredible that Fox would be sued for slander when the real leaders in lying news is all our media networks. There is now two set of laws and it will finally reach down into our personal space we'll all be forced to gear up and arrest all those in charge all over the country, these people are just seriously out of control and have no employers but still use our tax dollars to pay themselves.

It seems from reports I have seen, that Carlson's departure is tied both to his attitude and showing side effects of Covid vaccines and the fact that he is critical of Dominion Voting systems, which supposedly Fox has just signed an agreement not to criticize. Both Bongino and Carlson were critical of the corrupt voting machines and the fact they could be tampered with electronically and that they were not secure. Bongino's contract was up and was not renewed, but Carlson's contract was abrogated, so that will cost Fox a LOT of money. It must have been quite serious to cancel their highest revenue earner with the highest ratings in cable news.

Tucker Carlson is The Breath of Fresh Air... I don't watch tv and so don't watch Fox programs, but I get all of Tucker's reports....

Fox was getting too much pressure about his TRUTH telling, swamp dredging, so had to let him go.

Tucker will be A-OK, but the Fox audience won't be.
