If so WHY? I'm more plagued since I got on a higher fiber diet, I eat more cabbage and beans than I ever have, this has got to be the reason...But these foods keep cleaned out. I pop a Bean Assist capsule but maybe not often enough. A vicious cycle.....
As the old rhyme goes: Beans, beans, the musical tart. The more you eat, the more you fart. The more you fart, the better you feel. So let's eat beans for every meal!
I expect to be gassy after eating certain foods. To get some relief I mix a teaspoon of baking soda in warm water. It has worked for me even when I feel nauseated I drink it.
I'm laughing, isn't it the Chinese who cherish their Toots? Or the Japanese, one or the other....bring the toots on.
I don't know about tooting, but some societies consider a resounding belch at the end of a meal the highest of compliments to the cook/host.
Since I've been taking prebiotics, I've had easier, more frequent bowel movements. But it's not caused me gas. I guess there's a middle ground between an increased population of out-gassing bacteria and having stuff escorted through my system faster and easier. I don't know that I'd be taking too many things that might make your pH too base. The side effects are worse than the problem. I've heard of people getting a dog so they can blame it, but my dog used to look at me every time she farted, so it sometimes backfires (so to speak.) You could try this: The downside is that you will then breath in farts through your mouth. So if you go this route, buy yourself some mints.
