Secretariat is a wonderful film about the race horse named Secretariat. I won't disclose the story line , but suffice to say, it is an excellent film. Please let us know if you have seen it and tell us what you thought of it.
I’m 99% confident that we saw it. I remember having a positive impression of the film but nothing beyond that. I know the main points from seeing them when they happened.
I don’t remember the detail of the movie, but I do know my wife and I enjoyed it. As a horseplayer secretariat was one of the greatest horses I ever watched run. He won the Belmont by 31 lengths. I believe there is still speed records he set that were never broken. Only 2 other horses Forego and Ruffian gave me the thrill to watch, they all had great "heart".

I remember reading an article about Secretariat saying that the horse was something of a freak in terms of its organs and physical makeup. There might well never be another like it.
