Wordle Daily

Thanks for that, Nancy. That's the site I use, too. And you're right...it does not require signing up. I referenced it in the Wordle Member Challenge thread I started, since it lets folks create their own puzzles and share them.

We were looking for a site (without signing up) where we could each play the same Word of the Day and then post our results here. The site you & I use has such a feature. It's here: https://wordlearchive.app/ . It's the site I referenced above.

Regarding the graphic issue: it's discussed fully in another thread, but the gist of it is that the Puzzle Results that the Wordle site gives you does not paste well into some forums. It should paste like this:

It's only meant to show how you got to the answer...it is NOT meant to show the actual words/letters you chose. That way, you're showing your journey but are not giving hints or posting the actual solution (as a print screen would.)

The only reason the graphic is on the table in the first place is because it is part of the results sharing feature of the website. We decided that it's not required...all we need is to know that you solved it in "x" number of tries.

There's no way to embed the actual game here.

I did another thread where we can each create a Wordle puzzle for others to solve and to post their results there, so we can kinda challenge each other with the puzzles we create/words we choose.

It has lots of fans here.

You get 6 shots at guessing a 5 letter word.
It tells you when you guess a correct letter(s), and tells you whether or not it's in the right spot.
It takes 2 minutes to play.

I see you did Puzzle 686 and got it correctly in your 4th try. The graphic is not gonna work here ever.

edit to add: Not that it matters for our purposes,but I see you got 2 letters right your first guess (not sure of the order),2 letters right your second guess (not sure of the order), 4 letters right your 3rd guess (not sure of the order), and you got it on your 4th attempt. We're ignoring all that and are comparing how many attempts it took each of us to get the word.
