Thanks for reply but I see they have appeared with the other options....not many,,...guess I will have to use from my own files, I keep some on my desktop not to worry about handling,,,,I have been on net since dial up days

You turn them on & off. -Click once and they show at the bottom. -Click again and they disappear. Keyboard shortcuts work as well (semi-colon+ end paren for wink), but I only know a few.
Yes all of the options line is showing now but I was also wondering about the ' Like' option if one did not wish to post a Reply.. Does it have an emoticon selection too. ? I don't use keyboard for shortcuts ..too many to remember
No, there are no emoticons for the Like button. I think conversations have been had (to put it in the passive tense) and it was decided (there's that p.t. again) that we're gonna stick with what we've got. I used to know the ALT+codes for a bunch of stuff, but then mice & graphics came along and I forgot them.
