Today for breakfast I will be making my homemade pancakes using wheat gluten as a flour..
I have a S/F syrup but nothing goes well with pancakes than the real maple syrup..

Some call them pancakes while some call them flapjacks........ Which do you call them ????

Supper was my homemade Swiss steaks using minced chicken..
450g of minced chicken, one egg, 1/4 cup of cream, 1/2 cup of porridge (not instant), 1/2 cup of chopped onion, dash of worchester sauce, herbs ans spices... Mix and make 4 or 5 patties.. Let sit for a while in the fridge.. Grill and serve..
I made mine in the fry pan with a gravy.. cook till almost done.. I added some caramelized onions to the gravy and continued cooking the burgers........ For the gravy I used some beef stock and added a bit of flour to thicken it up a bit..
    steamed carrots and potatoes..
    Clementine
    Pot of tea....

It was a delicious meal and I have some burgers left over for another day..

I've always called them pancakes. This was when living in Indiana as well as here in Virginia. I've heard of the term "flapjacks," but have never encountered anyone actually referring to pancakes that way. I don't know in what region it's in common usage.

And I agree...you gotta use real maple syrup.

Burgers on the BBQ... I make my own burgers using either minced chicken or minced turkey.. I freeze a whole lot of them and put them on the hot grill frozen.. I NEVER serve them with buns, only plain.......
Baked potato, steamed and smashed carrots with lots of butter, peas....
S/F butterscotch pudding served with heavy cream..
    Pot of tea..

A simple meal but a standard meal we like.....

I am working on going back to kind of a low-carb OMAD meal plan, with one main meal each day, but light snacks before going swimming or in the evening, and drinking more liquids. I started adding ice into my kombucha, and that will help out with the extra liquids .
The kombucha is made with sweet tea, which is fermented, and the probiotic bacteria and yeast eat any sugar that is in the kombucha, so it is actually very low carb by the time it has cultured.
I do a second ferment with fruit juice added, but that sugar is also gone by the time it has gone through the second ferment, and it is then a wonderful, fizzy, low carb probiotic drink.

Yvonne... Sounds OK but you still need some vitamins you get from vegetables and fruit..
Do you think you will be OK with what you are doing???
How about some fiber to keep you regular?? ... Constipation is not pleasant at all..
