Aerogarden website father's day sale sucked me in. It's too hot outside to putter in the garden, so I'm back to Dining Room Farming. At this rate, tomatoes are about $80 each but at least it keeps me occupied. I picked up the Bounty Elite model, some self-pollinating variety cucumber seeds and some plastic trellis. Oh boy. This is the fanciest model I have purchased; the others are more "base level" units so we'll see if the upgrade is worth it.
Faye--I found these men's t-shirts at Costco. "Knit and spun in the USA. Made in the USA." And only $13.99!! https://www.costco.com/General-Standard-Men's-Americana-Tee,-Green,-Large.product.1717589.html I bought the olive green one for my husband; it's very lightweight cotton.
Seriously while living in Nevada our local electrical coop was allowing the sheriffs department to go thru people's electric bills to see if anyone was using those energy hogging sun lamps. They busted several large nice garage type buildings that listed very high energy bills and the garages were not businesses. Nevada has always been outside the laws that other states usually obey. I'm not opposed to criminals being busted, however I am very opposed to the law breaking the law and not asking for warrants to do these things. I think our whole country has gone totally rogue with all these people that are supposedly educated just ignoring all laws to make themselves look good instead of actually doing what they were trained to do, like say James Comey and those other FBI morons who hate Walmart shoppers. They might hate Walmart shoppers but they all were extremely stupid people thinking they were going to pull a silent coup de tat and not be caught. A shame they were not punished by firing squad. Had it been one of us we would be dead now for several years already.
Here's the problem, buddy. Because there is s much data gathered on us for "marketing" purposes (this included cell phone locations & activity), law enforcement buys much of what they need from commercial sources. Neither marketing firms nor LEOs require warrants to purchase commercially available data on us.
Hi Beth been hanging on the fringes a little bit just watching. Have to work my way back into posting, old age I guess LOL
True, but people never gave any permissions to sell their personal information to any person or business. Especially your bill paying information. I keep my gps off line and as far as I know none of my account information is online, with the exception of maybe making a comment on the help section. I did have a phishing message on my yahoo mail once after purchasing a new lit keyboard. It ask me did I ever get results from an inquiry about the keyboard. I knew then it was phony simply because I had never ever wrote any type of message to the seller or company. I don't like the keyboard but I still use it. Next one will be with larger keys.
I placed an order the other day and did not realize I was running low on chicory. I bought 2 paks of the granules that I fresh brew, a pak of regular instant chicory and a pak of dandelion instant chicory.
