I'm using more chicory now than I used to. My first bag of chicory lasted me a year, but I've gone through half of the current bag in a few months, and the bags are the same size.

The fresh brewed stuff makes a tasteful addition to coffee. I keep a 6 cup canning jar of it in the fridge. I'll put 2 cups or so in a pot, then brew 4 cups of coffee into it.

OK I am a gambler. After some trinket success with TEMU, I saw an ad for an electric bike on youtube. It cost $39!!! with battery, charger etc. I thought, that is something I have wanted but not for $1000. So I ordered it. Like Temu the site offered discounts the more I bought, like extra batteries. But the inventory was caused by covid restrictions backups etc. Not sure I want to buy old batteries, even at a discount. Shipping will take a while but, hey. Never one to rush into anything.
One notice near the end of the site mentioned the bike came 'mostly assembled' leaving some of the assembly for the purchaser to enjoy.
I am not one who 'enjoys' assembly. Glad I know someone who does.
We have had a bit of fraud on our credit card lately even without gambling so I felt confident in this. We have a very low limit. Just for groceries etc. basically.
    Fingers
    crossed.

keep us up to date how the bike performs and battery life etc. I was thinking about one just for shopping which is only two blocks one direction. A basket over the bars and two side baskets would be more than enough for me.

I love the 3-D printing guys on Etsy; they make lots of unique things. I ordered some Kratky supplies; mason jar lids with cut-outs for Aerogarden pods and these "trellis" things...

I need something to keep the dwarf tomato plants from getting top-heavy and tipping over so we'll see.

A couple of years ago I needed the air filter holder for a compressor I got at a yard sale. I ended up buying a 3-D printed one off of EBay. The guy primarily made parts and scenery items for legacy HO train sets. I have no idea why he made these compressor filters. It's fascinating stuff.

I am curious about 3D printing. Like, where do you get the raw materials, etc. How big are the machines?

    Check out Amazon.

An entry-level printer is under $100. They sell the resin in spools of what looks like weedeater line. It's $24/spool, which weighs 1 kg.

I made a mistake. It was on YOUTUBE not amazon which is where the gambling comes in. They had those basket accessories too. But the ad has disappeared.

It wasn't very long ago a small gas engine was legal for bicycles but all our states are out to grab as much tax dollars possible so they all managed to place a restriction on gas bicycle engines over the smallest available. Unless of course you pay for a license and wear all that garbage. I still see adds for the smallest engine and it is in kit form for like 129 for most bikes but it is all you assemble and sometimes you might need a modification made to get it shoe horned and mounted. You just pedal it and flip the battery switch and you are on gas power. If you stop you flip the battery switch and repeat after moving again. It is perfect for shopping and only a couple blocks. It would be easy to bring indoors so no one would steal it. If gas continues to go up like it did it would be a good decision to buy a bike and put the little gas engine on it, just for my shopping and also if my truck was down for repair as it was for over a year before I finally finished what I had to do so it would run again.
